How are the scholarships funded? keyfuture

The Fund receives donations from

  • School PTAs
  • County Council of PTAs
  • Arlington Education Association
  • Arlington Retired Teachers Association
  • Other organizations and individuals

Donations may be made to honor or remember educators, former educators and others. Donations to the ACSFfT, a 501(c)(3) organization, may be tax deductible.

Of the funds donated for scholarships through the Arlington County Scholarship Fund for Teachers, Inc. less than 1% are used for administrative and other non-scholarship costs, since our Board members are volunteers. If you or your organization would like to support these scholarships for future educators, please contact us at info@acsfft.org

If a total $2500 donation is given in a year, a full scholarship will be named in your honor. $1250 contributions will share in the naming of a scholarship. (Note – The scholarship amount was increased from a one-year $2000 amount to $2500 beginning with the awards made in the Spring of 2016.)
